No. TesseraFlow is a multi-project management tool that takes a new path: pragmatic project management combined with dynamic resource planning in the TesseraFlow grid, built from over 15 years of project-management experience. Just try it and see for yourself.
How quickly am I up and running?
We usually activate your access within one business day — set up with the industry template you picked on the request form, so you are not staring at an empty system. On the Team and Business plans we then go through your master data together in an onboarding session. On Starter you set things up yourself: the access link comes with the order in which your master data is quickest to enter. A short session is available there too, on request and free of charge.
Can I import or export existing data?
Master data is entered by hand to begin with — together in the onboarding session on Team and Business, by yourself on Starter, following the order that comes with your access link. For a manageable team that is quickly done, and the industry template gives you a head start. An automated import (for example from Excel) and an export to other formats (for example MS Project) will come later; both only really make sense with several customers and fixed file formats. You can request your own data at any time, though.
Can external service providers or subcontractors be scheduled?
Yes. Alongside staff and equipment you also schedule externals such as subcontractors, assembly partners or on-call resources. They appear as their own rows in the grid but need no access to the app: only your planners see them.
Does it run in the browser? Do I need my own IT?
TesseraFlow runs entirely in the browser. You only need a current browser and an internet connection. No installation, no servers, no IT department of your own. Hosting is in Germany.
Can I use TesseraFlow on a tablet or phone?
You can view your plans on a tablet at any time. Editing, meaning moving tasks by mouse, currently still happens on the desktop, where the large grid also has the room it needs. A full touch experience for the road is in the works.
Where is my data stored and how is it protected?
On servers in Germany, with most providers operated in their EU region. Every customer is strictly separated from all others, the connection is encrypted, and every change is logged. Details on processing — including individual US providers covered by EU Standard Contractual Clauses — are in our privacy policy. TesseraFlow is built GDPR-first from the ground up.
